We are seeking to recruit several RTA Solicitors/FILEX to join our expanding Firm.

With this continued growth in mind and our increased workload we are seeking Solicitors with at least 1 years PQE dealing with claimant multi- track RTA cases.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of caseloads, with supervision, from inception to an effective and satisfactory conclusion, using our case management system.

To be successful in this role, candidates will have previous proven experience of personal injury work from claimant background, however this is not essential as there is opportunity to gain this experience. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise effectively and work efficiently to ensure targets and deadlines are met. Experience of working with a case management system would be desirable, however is not essential.

Main Duties:

1. Action all cases in line with the Firm/Client service standards and protocols
2. Deal with all aspects of litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims
3. Progress claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR
4. Instructing counsel, attending hearings and CMC’s
5. Ensuring clients are kept informed and up to date on a regular basis throughout the life of a claim
6. Checking the authenticity and validity of claims by speaking with clients regularly
7. Discussing liability and/or quantum offers with the relevant parties
8. Liaising and communicating with all external agencies during the life of a claim including medical agencies, hire companies, investigators, barristers, etc
9. To maintain at all times good professional and ethical standards in dealing with client’s and other persons and interests.
