Jo joined the firm in 1999 as a Fee Earner and was appointed to the position of HR Manager in 2004 and Communications Director in 2011.

In 2007 Jo completed a Masters Degree in Personnel and Development at John Moores University and in 2011 gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Legal Practice Management (Merit) from Manchester Metropolitan University. As Communications Director Jo still oversees a team who manage the HR function of the firm.

As a member of the Management Board, Jo is involved in the implementation of firm strategy and is responsible for talent management, communication and culture of the firm.
