Doug joined Carpenters in 2005 as Business Development Executive. Since then Doug has had an active role on the Management Board as a Non Executive Director assisting the firm with development of business strategy.

In June 2011 Doug became Chief Executive of the firm. With more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry, Doug has an extensive knowledge of the insurance claims area. He was a Claims Director for an insurance company, as well as being a Director of the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB).

Doug has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and has been a key figure in the conception of several businesses.
