Alan qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 having trained at a leading insurance practice. He spent 7 years representing insurers in personal injury actions before joining Carpenters in 2000.

Alan was appointed Partner in 2004 and Commercial Director in 2010, and is responsible for managing the firm’s commercial relationships with Insurers.

As a member of the Management Board Alan has a key role in the growth and expansion of the firm.
